“The breath of plants gives life to animals and the breath of animals gives life to plants. My breath is your breath, your breath is mine. Itʼs the great poem of give and take, of reciprocity that animates the world” - Robin Wall Kimmerer, Braiding Sweetgrass

Yağmur Güngör

Yağmur Güngör (she/her) is a facilitator, researcher, and healer dedicated to fostering ecological consciousness and regenerative futures. She was born in Istanbul, Turkey, and her name means 'rain' in her native language. After living in New York for five years, she now walks through the world as a nomad.

Yağmur’s life experiences and multidisciplinary academic background in Economics, Social Entrepreneurship, and Liberal Studies from New York University have inspired her research on Indigenous Wisdom, Ecological Consciousness, and Systems Change.

Currently, Yağmur facilitates holistic workshops and programs to foster ecological consciousness and sustainable development. Guided by a deep commitment to planetary healing, she weaves together wisdom from diverse disciplines to create embodied, imaginative, and transformative (un)learning experiences for systems change. Her integrative approach draws upon Indigenous Knowledge, systems thinking, and life-centered design, alongside nature-based mindfulness, sound healing, and somatic practices.

She is an Inner Development Goals (IDG) practitioner and serves as a faculty member at the Switzerland IDG Academy, where she offers online programs rooted in inner and outer transformation. Her work extends across a constellation of organizations, including the Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education, Earth Charter, Life-Centered Design School, Mind Body Ecology Institute, Nature Governance Agency, and NYU Stern Business School.

Walking the path of earth-based wisdom, Yağmur is also a student of Patricia White Buffalo, training as a Shamanic Practitioner to weave sacred teachings into her work for the healing of both people and planet.
