“What we need now are new stories to share with each other, new tales to live into the world, which is to say, stories to make real by living our own versions of them." - Bill Plotkin

Kyle Spencer

Integrative Somatic Practitioner • Reiki Master Teacher • Transformational Coach • Ecstatic Dance Facilitator • Men's Group Leader • Wilderness Guide

Kyle Spencer is the founder of Of Wild and Worth, a practice devoted to somatic bodywork, transformational coaching, and earth-based healing experiences. Through his work, Kyle invites clients beyond wellness and into wholeness, reconnecting them to their body's innate wisdom, reclaiming sacred boundaries, and remembering their deep belonging to the natural world.

His offerings include one-on-one somatic coaching and trauma integration, Reiki and energetic healing, personalized wilderness rites of passage, and group rewilding retreats for those navigating life's major transitions. Kyle serves as a facilitator with the Dallas Movement Collective, where he leads ecstatic dance gatherings that weave together music, movement, and community as pathways to authentic self-expression and healing.

Kyle also brings his passion for human development into traditional career settings as the Director of Career Services at the O'Donnell School of Public Health at UT Southwestern Medical Center. There, he guides graduate students in discovering their purpose through values-based decision making. Whether in a boardroom or around a campfire, his philosophy remains constant: when people truly know who they are, they can confidently choose where they're going.

Born in Louisville, Kentucky, and raised across the United States, Kyle's formative years in rural Alaska awakened his deep relationship with the natural world. The wilderness became his first teacher in resilience, presence, and the interconnectedness of all life: lessons that now form the foundation of his healing practice.

Kyle's diverse background includes work as a musician, actor, and dancer, alongside formal business training with an MBA in Healthcare Organization. This unique blend of creative expression, business acumen, and wilderness wisdom informs his integrative approach to human development. His journey has taken him from mountain summits to ceremonial spaces, studying alongside Indigenous wisdom keepers from Alaskan Native, Navajo, Lakota, and Mayan traditions.

Kyle is skilled in both primitive and modern Wilderness Survival techniques including firecraft, shelter building, land navigation, and wilderness first aid. He weaves these practical skills with ceremonial practices in his retreats and rites of passage work. Kyle has facilitated men's groups and co-led wilderness experiences designed to help participants meet themselves with courage, honesty, and integrity.

With over 15 years in the performing arts and extensive training in somatic and energetic healing modalities, Kyle brings creativity, presence, and deep listening to every interaction. Whether guiding someone through a career transition, profound loss, spiritual awakening, or sacred life passage, his intention remains the same: to help people remember the wholeness they have always carried within.
