Analiese Hill

Analiese Hill was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, where a strong sense of community and deep connection to the land shaped her earliest years. She works as a bilingual educator and community networker whose approach weaves together inclusive mindful arts, discovery, rest, and play in nature, and deep human connection. She currently works at Rolling Hills Elementary School as a PK-5 Resource and Inclusion Teacher, teaching and advocating for students with special needs.

Analiese earned degrees in Social Work and Hispanic Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, where she explored communal living, cross-cultural exchange, and the role of creativity in building resilient communities. Her professional journey began in education, advocacy, and care of children with developmental and physical disabilities and learning differences. She has built diverse communities of children in yoga studios, libraries, churches, camps, and in her local neighborhood. She is involved in Scouts of America, where her son Oliver is working toward his Eagle Scout rank.

Her life has been deeply shaped by cultural immersion and international family ties. She lived and studied in Chile and maintains ongoing connections to her friends and family on the island of Chiloé and in the port city of Valparaiso, Chile.

Analiese’s personal practice blends movement, meditation, dance, and deep nature immersion. She studies with her teacher, Terri Hagar Sherer, a Certified Rest Coach and dedicated student of indigenous teacher, Beth Bando. Together, Terri and Analiese work with the ancient wisdom of medicine wheels, drawing on the four directions and cycles of the seasons. Through this practice, she cultivates a deep connection to the land and its rhythms, as well as the internal landscape of the human experience, drawing on story, ceremony, and embodied practices to foster healing, balance, and belonging.

Trained in Brené Brown’s Dare to Lead program and deeply involved in the 12-Step community, Analiese draws from her own recovery journey to create safe, authentic spaces for growth. Her roots run deep in a land-connected family that gathers on 300 acres of wild South Texas brushland – home to cows, deer, rabbits, coyotes, birds, and the rhythms of the untamed and rugged landscape.

Analiese is a life-long learner, dedicated to creating restorative, transformative experiences for people. She brings educational expertise, cultural fluency, leadership training, recovery wisdom, earth-based spirituality, and reverence for nature to her work. Her approach invites participants to slow down, attune to natural cycles, and reconnect with the joy that is vital for a flourishing human experience.
