Amanda Halabi
Amanda Halabi is a certified Healing with Nature Trauma Care practitioner who is passionate about helping people remember their deepest birthright - the language of Mother Nature.
For many years, Amanda understood alignment through the lens of capitalism and other implicit structures of inequity, uncomfortably valuing success and financial security above all else in this world. As the daughter of Lebanese war refugees and a 2nd-generation immigrant, she was taught that the only way to gain safety was to buy it.
Over time, this understanding began to unravel as she realized there were other relationships begging for her attention: her relationship with the natural world, her relationship with herself, her relationship with her ancestors, and her relationship with love for all beings everywhere.
Recognizing that she was living out of alignment with the Earth and with her most deeply held morals and values inspired a profound reorientation of her life. Since then, she has been exploring what it means to live in right relationship with Mother Nature, and how this remembrance can transform the way she lives, leads, and belongs.
As her connection with herself, with her lineage, and with the natural world has grown, so too has her understanding that our personal well-being is inseparable from the health of the larger living systems we belong to.
These days, Amanda finds herself drawn to exploring how reconnecting with nature can help us remember who we are beyond the identities, expectations, systems, and patterns that often keep us feeling separate from ourselves, from one another, and from the Earth. She believes that cultivating wholesome living through curiosity, reciprocity, and a whole lot of laughter allows us to lead more authentic lives and contribute to the flourishing of both people and planet.
Amanda finds herself the most alive when 'meandering' up a mountainside and being awe-struck by flowers, marveling at tall trees who were alive before her and will be alive long after her, singing, dancing, and laughing loudly and with no abandon, hanging out with her favorite human, Erik, or trying to learn her mother tongue, the language of Mother Nature.
She continues to be a student of the Earth, believing that a world where every being belongs is around the corner, if only we are willing to try.
